Me and Mrs Webmaster did a cruise last year. Excellent. We were a bit worried about having to get dressed for dinner every night but we needn’t have bothered. You can do the whole thing with evening dress if you want but there’s no need at all.
We saw some wonderful places and were always pleased for a night in the club, a game of bingo, live entertainment - and then waking up in a different place the next morning. Had a look in the casino but didn’t bother - am too tight. Too much food, which was available 24 hours a day.
Can’t think of any other way that you can visit so many places in such a short time - Rome, Monaco, Mahon, Palma, Sicily all in a week. Of course the couple we met from Leeds who booked three days before, paid half the price we’d paid and were then going to have a week’s full board were a pain.
Couldn’t do it every year but will have another go now we know what to expect.
