Over the years Clubbers visitors have tried loads of places but quite often end up back at the old favourites around Spain, the Balearics and the Canary Islands. Angus and his good lady have grown quite fond of Turkey and Portugal.
My personal preference is Northern Mallorca - the South of the island is great too, apart from the street touts who are still a nuisance, but the North tends to be much quieter for us old uns. Unfortunately these touts ,tend to choose couples of a certain age and unbelievably there are still people who are daft enough to fall for their tricks. They don’t do “Timeshare” any more, they’ve switched to “Holiday Clubs” - what the difference is I don’t know. So please, if you’re offered a chance to win something with a scratchcard you’re about to be had - if you’re unsure just sit and watch them for a while; they disappear like magic if a police man comes by and you’ll also see that everyone wins the top prize.
There’s nothing at all wrong with timeshare properties but if you want to consider one go to a reputable dealer but please, not the touts.
